Hook: If you listen to news sources in the mainstream media today, you really can't know if you are even hearing the truth anymore. So, what is truth?That seems to be a question that causes a great debate among philosophers. In this, two types of truths have been defined: Relative Truth and Absolute Truth. Relative truth seems to suggest that there is no absolute truth. Relative truth says that truth is a "subjective value according to differences in perception and consideration." This means that truth varies according to an individuals perception. In the current U.S. political and social climate, this is the type of truth that seems to permeate our society.
